Which encryption standard do you use?
We implement RC4 128-bit encryption, which is broadly compatible with virtually all modern and legacy PDF readers.
Does it work with large files?
We support files up to 20MB. Since processing happens in your browser RAM, larger files might cause performance issues.
Can I remove the password later?
Yes, but you will need the original password to unlock it first. We currently focus on adding protection.
Is my password ever sent to a server?
Never. The security handler is applied entirely within your browser session. We do not store or track any passwords.
